Recycle! Just the way I like it!

Image and video hosting by TinyPic
Christmas is just around the corner and last minute gift ideas are on uproar.
Feeling low on cash and you don't have a clue on what to get that certain someone?
Well, bring some creativity into your last minute shopping! I suggest saving some cash and getting eco-friendly.
How can you do this you say?
For instance, I'm on a cut throat budget and I'm a huge recycle junkie. So what I did is went to my nearest commercial markets and looked around the bargain section. (The $10 and below section) I came across books, shirts, dresses and wacky items that chuckle friends/family. Went back home tuned to my favorite internet station (KCRW Eclectic24) and dived right into my junk of recyclables

Items found and well worth of reusing:

• Toilet paper covering- used as wrapping paper
• Cardboard toilet paper rolls- used as 'bows'
• Old magazine cut outs-used for decoration
• Beer caps-used for decoration
• Pink ribbon from past birthday gift-used as a 'finishing touch'
• Pixies pin-used for decoration
• Metro day pass-used for decoration

As you can see it's pretty easy to get creative while being eco-friendly.
So recycle cause it's better than wasting money on expensive gifts!
Weigh the pros and cons and you'll see that this is the better choice.

A) You're saving money. B) You're having fun. C) The gift will be worth more cause you put your time, mind and heart into it which makes it more special than an expensive gift that will soon rot in someone's closet.

So Merry Christmas and happy holidays~!
*I'll begin to post more often, I promise.

Back and forth.

A lot has been on my mind.
In the past 3 months of not posting I've endured many obstacles and explored many new places.
So much to tell and yet little time I dedicate to write a post.

I am a closed book thats ready to be read.

So here I go.
• August: Financial stability, Traveling; North Cal, College, Car.
• September: College; drowned with homework, Driving, Met my foreign pen-pal from Suwon, South Korea.
• October: An official member of AIGA LA, Went to a variety of Art gigs, Opening parties, Met follow photography and lomo loving people, Visited Raquel at USC, Halloween; Hallucinogens.
• November: So far I'm booked with homework and trying to manage my time to blog
(need to show my side projects some how)

... For the past week I felt very nostalgic for some odd reason.
Back and forth I go with this feeling~
Maybe, I'm just going into a strange transition.

I finally found the time to post!! This summer a lot of events have been occurring. I never thought I would say this but so far Summer 2010 has been one of the best! Non-stop learning and exploring new "fields", if I may say. This summer is the start of my new year into the "real world". I'm really excited to start college and to move onto my new life. After four long years, I'm finally getting what I deserve^^ Also, I've been sticking to my words lately. I'm actually working out and being active. I recently joined a summer dance camp called "PAC CAMP". It's hosted by none other than PAC Modern <3 CSULB's official dance crew. I enjoy being around fellow dancers, the vibe is so amazing and we're all family. Speaking of family on occasion POREOTICS comes in and gives us dancers a few lessons. Which I find myself honored by mastering Law's choreo :] But eventually good things come to an end and this is my finally week of PAC camp... but! Saturday 14th we have PAC CAMP'S SPF 3.O Showcase, there I will give my all for our last performance. Anyways!! Another cool thing I've been busy has been Pen-paling. Yes, I finally found a great friend over seas. Japan that is^^ I'm improving on my reading and writing but at times it's still tuff. Shhhhh~!
It's been 2 weeks and I haven't wrote back... I'm a bad pen-pal. I bet she's worried her letter didn't get sent.
Well~ before I start rambling more I'll explain why I decided to start posting in this format. Usually, I do this on my other blog. But I've changed my other blog into a Photo Diary. Which I'll start using it more often because I finally fixed my camera.
Can't you tell the difference in quality?? Anyways, I'll continue using this blog as a personal yet okay to show to the public kind of blog. You know, the random tips I give, drawings I do, yatta yatta ~~~

Something about birthdays...

always puts me in an apathetic outlook.
I can't help but feel this way. To the number 13 which time continues to tick.
I have less than an 1 hour to spare. This is simply something I go through each year. Sounds suicidal but the thought is simply nostalgic. Why? I really can't put this to mind.
So for this final goodbye I'll say "17, you were something..."

Awakening.

And so it begins… a new life of which comes many wonders and explorations.
Goodbye High school, class of 2010. Hello summer 2010, may many wonders come your way.

1st Wonder: Exploring/experiencing real world.
2nd Wonder: Someone soon to call papa.
3rd Wonder: Future traveling and living abroad.
4th Wonder: Financially stable.

(These wonders can change, it all depends on me)

By the way, I'll start working on the projects I've been longing for…so for now this blog is

UNDER CONSTRUCTION!!!

Tastes like wasabi!

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Dinner for one please!
Due to my non existence of daily blogging, I've been pretty busy to bone. LITERALLY!
Job searches, College deadlines, Performing/Debut shows, Doctors...
this is where my life changes completely.
I'm on a 6 month diet treatment. No Caffeine or Chocolate. (why does this make me sound like a fat ass?) I have no problem giving up chocolate, thing is I LOVE TEA and sad as it is I must give it away. (tears)
So I decided, if I'm giving up these particular items then I should... change my whole diet. (goodbye unhealthy culture food!)
DAY 1: Cabbage wrapped chicken and rice with watered down grape juice accommodated with dietary supplement.
geez~ how shmancy aye? Anyways, I confused the lettuce with cabbage but the cabbage gave it a surprise spice. WASABI~ made a good comeback. Are cabbages even suppose to taste like wasabi or did I not wash it right?
