Christmas is just around the corner and last minute gift ideas are on uproar.
Feeling low on cash and you don't have a clue on what to get that certain someone?
Well, bring some creativity into your last minute shopping! I suggest saving some cash and getting eco-friendly.
How can you do this you say?
For instance, I'm on a cut throat budget and I'm a huge recycle junkie. So what I did is went to my nearest commercial markets and looked around the bargain section. (The $10 and below section) I came across books, shirts, dresses and wacky items that chuckle friends/family. Went back home tuned to my favorite internet station (KCRW Eclectic24) and dived right into my junk of recyclables

Items found and well worth of reusing:
• Toilet paper covering- used as wrapping paper
• Cardboard toilet paper rolls- used as 'bows'
• Old magazine cut outs-used for decoration
• Beer caps-used for decoration
• Pink ribbon from past birthday gift-used as a 'finishing touch'
• Pixies pin-used for decoration
• Metro day pass-used for decoration
As you can see it's pretty easy to get creative while being eco-friendly.
So recycle cause it's better than wasting money on expensive gifts!
Weigh the pros and cons and you'll see that this is the better choice.
A) You're saving money. B) You're having fun. C) The gift will be worth more cause you put your time, mind and heart into it which makes it more special than an expensive gift that will soon rot in someone's closet.
So Merry Christmas and happy holidays~!
